The Sage Within philosophy
At Sage Within, we believe that health is deeply individual and ever-changing. There is no single plan that works for everyone, and no approach that fits every season of life. Coaching is a collaborative process — one where coach and client work together to build a plan that reflects your needs, your lifestyle, and the season you’re currently in. We focus on understanding your body, honoring where you are, and creating sustainable habits that support strength, energy, and confidence over time. This isn’t about perfection or pushing harder; it’s about awareness, consistency, and learning how to care for yourself in a way that feels realistic, supportive, and lasting.
Who am I?
I’m a woman, a mother, a trainer, a coach —
and someone who has lived this work long before I ever taught it.
For years, I struggled with eating disorders, body dysmorphia,
and cycles of yo-yo dieting that started when I was just 14.
I’ve been 99 pounds. I’ve been 250. I know what it feels like
to chase control, to feel disconnected from your body,
and to believe that if you could just “fix” yourself,
everything would finally feel okay.
When I turned 40, something shifted.
After leaving an abusive marriage,
I had the space — and the courage — to finally listen to myself.
Not the noise. Not the pressure. Not the expectations. Me.
That was the beginning of learning how to understand my body instead of fighting it.
I wasn’t taught to love myself growing up. I learned that through rock bottom. Through self-reflection. Through small habits repeated consistently. Through nourishment and movement that supported me instead of punished me.
My passion for helping women runs deep because I’ve been there — and in many ways, I still am. I’m not teaching from a pedestal. I’m walking alongside you.
Sage Within Coaching was built from lived experience, education, and the belief that women deserve support, understanding, and strength in every season of life.

Sage Within Group Coaching is offered in structured six-week containers designed to help you implement what you’re learning in a supportive, focused environment.
Each group is intentionally small to allow space for connection, accountability, and meaningful conversation.
